Reader Success Story: Hyatt Ziva Cancun

Pam

It seems as though many of our readers enjoy the Hyatt Ziva Cancun as much as we do! We hear from you quite often about how you have enjoyed your trips on points there. Today, Katie shares her reader success story with the Hyatt Ziva Cancun. Here’s Katie’s story:

Hi! Thanks for the content you create.  After seeing your trip to the Hyatt Ziva Cancun, I booked a trip there for my husband, my 2-year-old daughter, and myself.  We used the welcome offer from card_namewhen it was a 100K signup bonus (over a year ago) and transferred the points to Hyatt for the 4-night stay. (Note: It will now cost more to stay there now).

We then opened up the card_name and the card_name to get points and a Southwest Companion Pass. These covered (and then some) our round-trip airfare.

Our stay at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun was INCREDIBLE! My husband and I thought the food was outstanding – we loved the buffet breakfast at El Mercardo, ceviche and fish tacos at the beachside restaurant Habaneros, and the dinners at the Italian restaurant Lorenzos. We also loved the steak house, Trade Winds.

The private beach and pools were so beautiful, and the staff couldn’t have been better. My two-year-old daughter absolutely loved the kids’ club water slides and the nightly shows – especially the Fantasy Show, which was full of her favorite Disney characters. Overall, it was a 10/10 trip, and I can’t wait to return!

This was the first time I’ve ever used points for hotels and our first all-inclusive experience, and I’m hooked 🙂  Our next all-inclusive vacation might be the Hyatt Ziva in Jamaica, but I’d gladly go back to Hyatt Ziva Cancun anytime. Thanks for all your great content and inspiring me to take travel with points/miles more seriously.
