Bookable Hotels with Points Near Bora Bora

Pam

I just spent 5 days in Bora Bora, and it was paradise. Even though we had a lot of rain 😩. You know it is a great resort when you are dying to get more points so you can come back again, even when the weather the first time wasn’t the greatest. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to do a post on bookable hotels with points near Bora Bora.

Hilton Conrad Bora Bora

From the minute we got off the speedboat, this resort had my heart! Gorgeous views, a welcoming committee with gold washcloths and drinks, and a huge room to stay in with an upgraded over-the-water villa the last night!

When I booked this hotel, the standard room was 95K. It now starts at 120K Hilton Honors Points. I would definitely save Hilton Points for this stay!

Conrad Bora Bora had beautiful views throughout the resort!

Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa

The Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa did not have any standard rooms through November 2023, and the premium rooms were about 280K. Wowzers! You might get lucky like I did when I booked the Conrad and suddenly find some availability. We talked to someone at the Conrad who had been there and thought it was “tired.”

The Hilton Moorea Resort is hard to find point availability for booking.

The Hilton Tahiti

We stayed at the Hilton Tahiti before heading to the Conrad Bora Bora. It was a nice hotel to stay at before heading out to the Conrad, but It is very close to the airport. Hence, it feels a little like an airport hotel, and although it is a beautiful property, the water area is not what you expect for Tahiti. We thought we were going to get some real Tahiti vibes, and this didn’t offer that.

You can find a standard room for as little as 74K points/night, and if you get in late to Tahiti as we did, this hotel makes a nice stop-off place. We actually stayed two nights (we anticipated it would have more of the real-Tahiti feel). It was nice to rest up before we headed to Bora Bora.

InterContinental Resort Tahiti

The InterContinental Resort Tahiti is as little as 59K/night. It looks really pretty, but that low amount of points scared me, so I went to Trip Advisor for reviews. It is a 2022 Trip Advisor Traveler’s Choice Winner and received a 4.0 out of 5.0 points with over 4,000 reviews. After reading the reviews, it sounds like a great transit hotel (like the Hilton Tahiti) but not a great place to stay if you are looking forward to that truly great Tahiti experience.

The Intercontinental Tahiti is bookable for only 59K/night.

InterContinental: Bora Bora Resort Thalasso Spa

The InterContinental: Bora Bora Resort Thalasso Spa is a hotel where I cannot find a bookable night with points. It may be a great place to stay but trying to find points to stay is like finding a needle in a haystack. Have you stayed there, anyone, with points? The price to stay in an overwater villa is about $1400/night.

This resort has been impossible for me to find availability to book with points.

InterContinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort

The InterContinental Bora Bora Le Moana  is 109K/night to book with IHG points. You could use points from these cards to book here. It has really good reviews, and I would give it a try.

The Intercontinental Bora Bora has rooms bookable for about 109K.

Le Meridien Bora Bora

This resort is closed until the 4th quarter of 2023. Once it reopens, we will update this post with information about it. The fact that it is being renovated is a great sign.

The St. Regis Bora Bora

The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort is bookable for 112-120K Marriott Bonvoy Points. It has amazing reviews and would be a great stay. You can book your stay here with these Marriott Bonvoy Cards.

Bottom Line

French Polynesia is a destination that many people would like to book. Whether you are staying on Tahiti, Bora Bora, or Moorea, there are several bookable hotels near Bora Bora with credit card points. Where would you pick to stay?

Because of Pam’s pics, I set my sights on the Conrad Bora Bora. As you have mentioned/know, Hilton’s point redemptions are outrageous! I’m lucky if my SUB will pay for one night! The good news is my Hilton biz card (just opened) will also come with a free night cert. That’s two nights. Ideally, I’d stay 5 like Pam! I don’t have a P2, do you recommend opening another Hilton card after I meet this min spend to get another two nights? I have a backup for these points for Hilton, but I’d reallllly like to do Bora Bora!

If the Conrad Bora Bora is your dream, go for it. Or invite a friend or relative to come along and have them get some points too!
