Pam
Our latest reader success story to Hawaii comes from Lexi, where she utilized not only a Player 2 but also a Player 3 so that 4 people could go. Here is her story:
Since October, we have been able to sign up me (Player 1), Player 2, and Player 3 for cards to plan a trip to Maui. The five of us stayed at the Hyatt Wailea Grand Champions Villas in a 2 bed, 2 bath condo for 8 nights, all on points!
Getting to Hawaii was also all on points minus the $56 of taxes using the Turkish Airlines partner transfer of 7,500 points each way per person! (Great job doing the Turkish miles trick to Hawaii—it’s not an easy trick)
So, all in all, me, my boyfriend, my sister, my mom, and my mom’s boyfriend stayed in Maui for 8 nights for just $56!
Our second trip of the year will be my boyfriend and I going to Lanzarote, Spain, to a Secrets by Hyatt on points for 6 nights (138,000 points)! This will be my last big trip before I start nursing school in the fall!
To get to Spain, we used the 30% transfer bonus promotion from Capital One to Virgin Red and booked round-trip flights from Dallas (DFW) to Madrid (MAD) for only 30,800 points per person (61,600 miles total)!
To get to DFW, we are flying out of Seattle using our Venture X card $300 flight credit. Then, getting from Madrid to Lanzarote, we will be flying Iberia on points as well! For this trip, taxes and fees were a little more. For $601 per person, we are going for a total of 8 nights to Madrid/Lanzarote!
We have used a combination of points from each of us having the following cards:
We honestly wouldn’t have learned about the business cards or how to utilize the Turkish Airlines transfer system without your help, so thank you! I appreciate all you do!
Thanks so much for sharing your reader success story to Hawaii and the trip coming up to Spain. We love hearing about our readers’ wins!
