Trip to Greece with Points

Pam

I want to say THANK YOU! Without your podcast, my family of four’s trip would not have been possible. We spent two weeks island hopping on our trip to Greece with points.

This trip had a cash value of $35,000 but only cost us $2,000 due to the system you taught me to use. I am in awe that it was possible and I acquired enough points for this trip in just 6 months of this points and miles hobby!

I have attached my points/strategy and hotel selection as well as some photos, but I have to say we stayed at a Mr. and Mrs. Smith hotel (Acron Villas in Paros, Greece) that moved higher on our favorites list even after a two-night luxury stay at Canaves Suites in Santorini. (Note: Her stays were done when these hotels were associated with different hotel brands than they are now, so you will not find stays for the same amount of points, sadly).

Brandy’s Chart

Here is Brandy’s list of points used, their redemption value, and what she paid out of pocket. This is so helpful to see her strategy. She flew economy class there but scored business class seats for their flights home. I am amazed that she pulled this off after being in the hobby for a mere six months—it just shows what you can do when you put your mind to learning about points and miles.

Bottom Line

Brandy’s trip to Greece with points/miles once again shows that you can have a luxurious trip for pennies on the dollar. I love how she broke it all down for us, too. I’m ready to plan my next trip to Greece soon – what are your favorite islands?
