Key Differences When Booking Mr. & Mrs. Smith Hotels with Hyatt Points

There are a couple of notable differences between booking nights at Mr. & Mrs. Smith hotels with Hyatt points and booking award nights at standard Hyatt properties. First, pricing is dynamic, meaning point rates fluctuate based on the cash rate, unlike Hyatt’s fixed award chart.

Additionally, not all Mr. & Mrs. Smith hotels offer the same Globalist benefits as Hyatt hotels. However, many of these properties provide extra perks for everyone—such as spa credits or a complimentary bottle of wine upon check-in—that make the experience even more enticing.

Here’s our list of ten great Mr. & Mrs. Smith hotel properties that should fit right into your Hyatt points budget!

Hi, I notice you mention the points cost changes with the cash cost, so where do the points costs posted come from? Is it fixed because they’re suites? Thanks!

    • Pam says:

I’m not sure that I am understanding what you are asking. The points cost is what we found for the hotels mentioned on the nights we searched. Since it is dynamic pricing, these prices could be higher (or lower) based on the night searched.
