Hyatt has announced their award chart changes for 2025. Before we get into some of the not-so-good news, here’s the GREAT news—the Hyatt award chart is still around. Hyatt is our favorite brand because of the oversized value it offers, and the award chart is a huge part of that.

There has been some speculation about Hyatt getting rid of their award chart and moving to dynamic pricing, but this announcement seems to indicate otherwise. So while some fantastic properties may cost more soon, the fact that the award chart is still around is really good news.

  • 151 (118 hotels are moving up to a higher category and 33 are moving down to a lower category)
• When will the changes take effect?
  • 8:00 a.m. CT on March 25, 2025
• What if I make a reservation before March 25?
  • You will lock in the current rate
• What if I already have a stay booked at a hotel that’s moving down a category?
  • You’ll receive an automatic refund after March 25
• What if I make changes to a reservation with the current rates?
  • Any changes made will result in being charged the new (higher) rate
