When Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines merged, we knew they would have to merge the two loyalty programs. The Atmos™ Rewards Program is the new program that Alaska and Hawaiian will share. Alaska’s loyalty program has already transitioned to Atmos™ Rewards, and Hawaiian’s will fully transition this fall.
The new premium card for this loyalty program has also been launched, the Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® card. Confused about the new name? I was at first, but it now makes more sense to me. The name Atmos™ is inspired by “atmosphere” and encapsulates an elevated brand that aims to take travelers to new heights.
All information about the Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® card has been collected independently by Travel Mom Squad. The Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® card is not currently available through Travel Mom Squad.
If you were previously a member of the Alaska Mileage Plan™, your number remains the same under the new program. Miles are now Atmos™ points, though, and elite-qualifying miles are now status points.
Here are the bullet points about the new credit card:
For those living on the West Coast, this card makes a lot of sense as Alaska has hubs from San Diego all the way up to Anchorage. And anyone who finds good redemption value in the Alaska Airlines loyalty program on partner flights (me!) will want to consider this card, too. I often use this program to book partner award flights to Europe, so I’ll be looking at getting this one. This new Alaska Airlines reward program and premium card are going to be good news for many people—what are your thoughts? Let us know if you are approved for this card!
