If Only I Could Stay at an All-Inclusive Resort

Pam

“If only I could stay at an all-inclusive resort?” Has that ever been your thought?  Imagine all the free food you can eat, free beverages at your fingertips, and great entertainment! That is what many all-inclusive resorts offer and that is why they are the dream of many travelers. Pay once and everything is included – you don’t even have to decide which item to pick to eat based on costs because it is all available to you. Even better, it is available for free or nearly free with credit card points and miles.

I have to say that I have stayed at several all-inclusive resorts and some are good and some aren’t. You definitely want to do your homework. In years past, I’ve stayed and paid too much for resorts where the food was just “meh”. Not a good use of your money or your points and miles. You don’t want to stay somewhere where the food starts tasting the same and you are wanting to go off the resort just to get a good meal. Luckily, there are many good resorts too!

Hyatt Ziva and Zillara

Hyatt Ziva and Zilara are great all-inclusive resorts that you can book on points. We recently stayed at both the Hyatt Ziva Cancun and Hyatt Zillara. You can read our review here. Basically, they were both great and can be booked for 25,000 Hyatt points per night for 2 people. This is such a great value and the food was great. We preferred the food at the Ziva but many people love the Zilara. With just a couple of credit cards, you can fly and stay at one of the many Hyatt all-inclusive resorts. Your days of wishing, “If only I could stay at an all-inclusive resort” can be a reality with credit card points and miles. Using Chase Ultimate Rewards and transferring to Hyatt or using Hyatt points from Hyatt credit cards will make these stays free for you.

Hilton All-Inclusive Resorts

You can also stay at a Hilton All-Inclusive resort with Hilton points. There are several Hilton credit cards that you can get that offer great welcome offers to make this a reality.

Marriott All-Inclusive Resorts

Sign up for Marriott Bonvoy credit cards to stay at these Marriott All-Inclusive Resorts. I have a lot of Marriott Bonvoy Rewards so I may have to check one out. When clicking on the link above and  I didn’t see an option to select points but once you select a hotel and start the search you can then select book with points on the following page.

Bottom Line

It is totally possible to stay at an all-inclusive resort for free. Generally, the Hyatt ones seem to use the fewest points, but you can totally do one of the other chains’ all-inclusive properties too. Throw out that thought, “If only I could stay at an all-inclusive resort” because you totally can with credit card points and miles!
