Hilton has a new way to book stays with points—you can now book luxury campsites with Hilton. This includes luxury campsites and custom Airstreams, cabins, and luxury tents in scenic locations near national parks and beaches across America. Billed as AutoCamps, they are a great alternative to hotels and Airbnb. There are mandatory fees with each (around $35/night), but they cover fun incidentals like activities, bikes, pool towels, etc.
This especially appeals to all of our national park travelers and makes Hilton Honors points even more valuable. These might make a fun option for families. And I am quite impressed with how they look. Let’s check out a few.
Enjoy the beauty of Cape Cod in your custom Airstream, luxury tent, or cabin, and enjoy s’mores by the fire. Complimentary breakfast at the Clubhouse is included in the price. Here is the cost for one night at this spot.
Enjoy one of the most beautiful national parks in the United States in a luxury airstream or cabin at AutoCamp Zion. Typical standard rates appear to be 75k Hilton points/night.
A daily mandatory charge of $35.96 includes weekly onsite events; coffee and tea; welcome drink; bicycles; pool towels; lawn and board games; outdoor kids play area; WiFi; onsite parking (including EV charging).
AutoCamp Joshua Tree, located in California, looks serene and peaceful. In fact, the pics on the main page of each of these AutoCamps have me thinking about a camping trip again. They definitely have the glamping vibe!
We are thrilled with this new option to book a more “glamping” experience with credit card points and miles. The ability to book luxury campsites with Hilton just made their points more interesting! Please let us know if you try one of these out—we would love to highlight one of you with an AutoCamp reader success story!

A TMS glamping adventure would make for some great Instagram reels. 🙂
I stayed at Auto Camp Zion this past Thanksgiving.
(We paid cash) It was a unique experience. We stayed in an airstream and cooked over a campfire. They provide a cast iron pan but you have to buy their special wood. The heated pool was broken and unfortunately it was a big reason we chose to stay there. They really didn’t seem to care. it is pretty low frills even though the pictures look so good. The concept is great but unfortunately it is run by locals who didn’t seem to know much about hospitality. The location is great but you definitely want a car to get into the park and go to restaurants. If you go, be sure to bring your sunglasses because the sun pinballs around all the airstreams and right into your retinas!
Thanks for your review – hopefully they will improve or people won’t be interested.
