Bookable Resorts in the Maldives with Points

I just finished an unforgettable trip to the Maldives. If you want the experience of being on a secluded island, this is it. There are many bookable resorts in the Maldives with points and miles. Since this is such a popular location, let’s go over these today so you can refer back to them when you book your Maldives trip. Remember that the standard, bookable room with points will generally not be an over-the-water bungalow. Additionally, all resorts will add on the cost of a seaplane or speedboat transfer.
Hyatt
Alila Kothaifaru Maldives
The Allila Kothaifaru Maldives was opened up in 2022. It is a category 7 hotel, but I found a lot of availability for 30K Hyatt points a night. It looks amazing! The standard room is a beach villa, not an over-the-water villa, but it would still be amazing. I love that there is a separate living area with this property and a private pool. This is not an all-inclusive resort, but you can add on a half-board or full-board eating plan.

Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa
Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa is another option for staying with Hyatt points. Again, Hyatt delivers oversized value by being able to book a stay here for as little as 30K/night. I even found select 25K/night dates! The standard room is this beautiful beach villa:

Marriott
The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort
The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort is bookable with points at an average of 70K Marriott Bonvoy points/night, but I found some mid-50K point availability (but not a lot of them). It has three restaurants and a popsicle shop (fun)!

70K may seem like a lot for an award redemption, but this is a pretty nice room!
The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort
The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is more expensive to stay at as it usually runs 82k/night. The standard room is a Garden Villa with Pool, but if you add on just a little more in cash, you can book an overwater villa. I would definitely be doing this!
The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands
The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands comes, as expected, with a hefty price tag or award redemption. If you have a ton of Marriott Bonvoy points, you can stay here for a mere 120k points a night. That’s the bad news, but the good news is that it looks like this:

W Maldives
The W Maldives is another property bookable with Marriott Bonvoy points. Again, you can book an overwater villa here, complete with a private pool, but it is more reasonable at 94K/night. (Did I just say that 94K is reasonable?)

Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa
The Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa is more affordable. I found several nights for under 60K so that means you could top off a 50K annual night certificate to stay there. I even found several 49K/nights. It is also billed as a family resort, complete with a kid’s club. The standard room is a guest room with a beach view. It isn’t overly fancy, but when you are in the Maldives, everything feels extravagant.

JW Marriott Maldives Resort and Spa
The JW Marriott Maldives Resort and Spa is also family-friendly. There are a few stays for about 75K/night, but most of the nights run about 100k/night. The standard room is a beach-view pool villa.

Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa
Last but not least is the Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa , which Alex stayed at this year and loved! It is such an affordable stay with points too! A newer property, it has a few meal plans you can pick too. Here are two choices, beach bungalows or over-the-water villas.
IHG Hotels
Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives
The Holiday Inn is not where I would normally want to park my body, but I have heard some great things about this resort. One of the really nice perks is that you don’t need to pay for an expensive seaplane to get you there. It is a great place if you have kids because they have a kid’s club and surf camp. Here are some prices – super reasonable! And it looks really pretty!

There is also an IHG Intercontinental, but I had a horrible time finding point stays there. And there are two Six Senses properties, but they look like they cost a lot of points.
Hilton Hotels
Conrad Maldives Rangali Island
The Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is an expensive option on points, but Conrad Hotels are known to be luxurious. We have booked a Conrad in Bora Bora, so I will know more about them when we return. Availability is usually difficult to find at them because they are so popular.
SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton
SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton is a more affordable option at only 85K Hilton Honors points a night. It sits on a private island 15 minutes by boat from Male International Airport, saving money on seaplane expenses.
If you really want luxury, here are a couple of other Hiltons you could pick if you have a lot of Hilton points. But seriously, who would spend 595K a night to stay anywhere?
Bottom Line
The Maldives is an aspirational dream destination for sure. Having spent time there (finally), I know nothing is like it. However, you don’t have to stay at the fanciest place and use all your points. Just being there on what feels like your own deserted island with crystal clear turquoise water and white sand is what is amazing! There are so many bookable resorts in the Maldives with points.
