Family Friday Vacation to Park City, Utah

Pam

One of my favorite places to visit is Park City in Utah. Park City, Utah, is a beautiful mountain town known for its world-class ski resorts, including Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Resort.  In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Park City offers a variety of other activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, and golfing. The Park City Historic Main Street has charming shops, art galleries, and restaurants. Family Friday Vacation to Park City, Utah, is today’s feature!

Flights

To get to Park City, Utah, our family of four will fly into Salt Lake City International Airport. Almost every airline flies there, so there are a number of choices for using credit card points and miles. Our family is traveling from LAX and planning a snowboarding vacay.  JetBlue, United, Southwest, and Delta are among the airlines that fly nonstop from Los Angeles. By using Ultimate Rewards flights, you can transfer points to United and Southwest. They are hoping to make this a quick weekend getaway.

Both flights will be about 20K/person roundtrip. However, if our family has the Southwest Companion Pass, they will get one free ticket.

I would use points from the following cards for this redemption:

Lodging

There are several places to stay with credit card points and miles in Park City, but having stayed at the Marriott Hotel AC Park City, previously, I can recommend that.

There are two great options for using Hyatt points too. And one can be booked with a free night certificate!

You can book lodging with these credit cards (or the ones above), among others:

Bottom Line

Our Friday Family Vacation to Park City, Utah, shows that a winter vacation doesn’t have to break the bank when you use credit card points and miles. What is your favorite type of family vacation? Do you like summer vacations or winter destinations?

How far are the Hyatt hotels from the ski lifts? Can you walk there or do you have to take a bus/car? What we love about Beaver Creek is we walk outside and there is the lift. Thanks!
