Can you get free breakfasts with credit cards? Absolutely, and not just at a hotel but also prior to an early morning flight! Let’s go over the credit cards that will make this happen!
The American Express Hilton Aspire Credit Card comes with Diamond Elite status. That means you’re entitled to a food and beverage credit. You can also get suite upgrades and lounge access, if available, as well. This is Hilton’s top-tier elite hotel status and you get it just for having this card. We love that you don’t have to stay so many nights or jump through any other hoops. Sign up for the card and it is yours. Now that is easy!
Yes, it is a luxury card but the benefits on the card literally pay for it so it is a card I would keep in my wallet. The annual fee is $450 but it comes with these benefits and more:
Yep, I want this card! Why do they keep denying me?? Here’s the table on the food and beverage credit:
Both of these cards come with Hilton Gold status which means you are able to get the above food and beverage credit. Both cards only have a $95 annual fee. Each comes with 10 Priority Pass airport lounge passes where you can pick up breakfast before your flight either in a lounge or a restaurant that honors Priority Pass.
This card comes with Hilton Gold status once you activate it. That means you can also get a food and breakfast credit at Hilton Hotels.
Additionally, it has access to multiple airport lounges. I cannot tell you how many breakfasts I’ve had before I boarded a plane. The American Express Centurion Lounge in Denver has served me many delicious breakfasts. I will always keep my Platinum Card from American Express for this purpose! The American Express Business Platinum also gives me access to several airport lounges.
Both the personal World of Hyatt Credit Card and the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card makes it possible to get free breakfasts at their hotels. Nope, it doesn’t come automatically, and yes, it takes some work to achieve but if you get Hyatt Globalist Elite Status, you will have access to some delicious breakfasts. Many people try to get Globalist Elite year after year just for the amazing breakfast options. Not only do you get Club Lounge access for food throughout the day, but you also get a full breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children when there is not a Club Lounge.
All information about the World of Hyatt Credit Card has been collected independently by Travel Mom Squad. The World of Hyatt Credit Card is no longer available through Travel Mom Squad.
Both IHG and Marriott also offer hotel elite status that comes with free breakfasts. Like Hyatt, it won’t come free by just holding their cards but, if you are a loyalist to these brands, it may be worth trying to achieve.
The Capital One Venture X Credit Card comes with Priority Pass Access and also access to their own airport lounges. Currently, there is just one Capital One Lounge in Dallas, but more are on the horizon. If you have this card, you can free breakfasts at many Priority Pass airport lounges before travel.
The Chase Sapphire Reserve Credit Card comes with access to Priority Pass lounges thus enabling a breakfast stop prior to early flights. Priority Pass lounges are not always the fanciest, but they are always a nice respite from a crowded terminal.
Free breakfasts with our credit cards are one of our favorite travel perks. Whether staying at a hotel or before an early-morning flight, we can save a lot of money on food with our credit cards and points/miles for free stays or flights!
