Friday Family Vacation: Destination by Hyatt Options

Pam

Do you love Hyatt but have a large family? Or love a good condo and want to cook your meals instead of going out to eat? Here are some Destination by Hyatt options that could appeal to you.

Destination by Hyatt is billed as a hotel and home in one. Currently, there are 59 destinations in the group, with the majority in the United States. When booking at one, look for at least 3-day bookings, or you may not see availability. The best deals with them seem to be for booking beach vacations at their condo units in Hawaii or Colorado (for ski vacations).

Destination by Hyatt Options Hawaii

Several Destination by Hyatt locations are found in Hawaii. This is particularly nice because Hawaii is very expensive for food. The ability to cook your own food can save you a lot of money. Add that to the fact that you can get a 2-bedroom condo much cheaper than two hotel bedrooms, and it can really save when you are using points and miles for your Hawaiian vacation.

Kaanapali Alii, a Destination by Hyatt Residence

This is located right on Kaanapali Beach, a happening place! We walk past it when we stay at the Hyatt Regency Maui, and it’s on my radar.

48K Hyatt points for a 2-bedroom condo is a steal!

There are several other options in Maui for a Destination by Hyatt condo.  The Wailea Ekolu Village, a Destination by Hyatt Residence, is only 27K/night for 2-bedrooms.

There are also locations on the island of Kauai and the Big Island. Remember these when planning a points and miles vacation for your family.

Destination by Hyatt Options Colorado

Interested in a winter destination for your family for some snowboarding or skiing? Check out the Christiana Condominiums in Vail, Colorado. There are other condos available in the area, too.

Another option in Vail is The Landmark, A Destination by Hyatt Residence.

Bottom Line

Destination by Hyatt options might be the perfect fit for your next family beach or winter vacation. The ability to stay in a condo, cook your own meals, and have more space may be a perfect use of credit card points and miles.
