Flights

Airlines like Frontier, American Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, United, Spirit, and Sun Country Airlines offer non-stop service to Puerto Rico from several U.S. cities. We are flying from Houston, and there is a non-stop flight on United that will work for us at 40K miles roundtrip.

 

 

If I choose to go on Southwest, I can save 6K points/person, but the flights are not direct. Personally, I’d rather pay more for direct flights.

 

 

 

Lodging

The Hyatt Place San Juan would make an affordable stay for a family with free breakfast and a shuttle that will take you to the beaches or to visit Old Town San Juan. This will allow you to stay in San Juan without the expense of a rental car, as it is only 12 minutes from the airport. The mini waterpark at the pool area is sure to delight young children and give you some time to relax.
