How to Use AMEX Business Platinum Dell Credits

Pam

I have had a few American Express Business Platinum cards and am always looking for ways to use my Dell credits. These cards come with a $400 Dell credit each year ($200 semi-annually). Because I have had more than one of these cards at a time, I am always looking for the best ways to use my credits. You may be, too. Here are some ideas for how to use AMEX Business Platinum Dell Credits.

Here are some reminders:

  • You have to enroll in the program first (via your online account).
  • You have to pay with your Business Platinum card, then you’ll receive a statement credit.
  • You can use up to three payment methods—that means I can order two $300 items and pay with three different cards.
  • Don’t forget to sign up for Rakuten and earn AMEX points on your purchases!
  • Sign up for Dell Rewards for discounts on future purchases.

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds

These earbuds are my favorite purchase. I have bought them for myself and my husband, as a gift, and a couple of extras (just in case). This is an example of when I buy two and pay with three cards, so my out-of-pocket expense is almost nothing.

Ring Video Doorbell Pro

This was another great purchase. I really like to see who is at my door before I open it, and the Ring Video Doorbell Pro makes that happen without them seeing me! 😜

Printers

Having a working printer in our home is a necessity. Nothing is worse than one breaking on you and having to run to a store to get a new one. That is why I like to always have an extra one at my house because I think they break down way too often. I have ordered several with my Dell credits.

Nest Thermostat

We have a Nest Thermostat and enjoy it. I like that I can turn it on and off on my mobile, even if I am not home. It is a great option for those Dell credits!

Amazon Echo Studio

Advertised as the best-sounding echo yet, this would be a great purchase. To be honest, I have a similar one still in the box. This is my reminder to take it out and set it up! The Amazon Echo Studio would also be a great gift!

Arcade1Up PAC-MAN

Yes, I did buy this for my grandchildren. Using two Dell credits made it a no-brainer. There are also other Arcades available to purchase.

Backpacks, Luggage, and Totes

I am always searching for the perfect backpack or tote, so getting them with a Dell credit has allowed me to try several and buy some for gifts. I have even bought luggage with a Dell credit. Just put what you are looking for in the search bar and see what you can find.

Yeti Microphones

Both Alex and I used Dell credits to purchase our Yeti microphones we use for our podcast. That’s my “free” microphone in the podcast cover image below!

Inspiron Laptop

I used three Dell credits one time to purchase a laptop for my husband. He doesn’t use one much, so he didn’t need a fancy one. There are several different laptops available that would be good for someone who doesn’t need a really great one.

Dell Pro Webcam

This is something that I am thinking of buying in the future. The Dell Pro Webcam would be perfect for when I zoom with clients or on our coaching calls. Do you think it can make me look younger? 😜

Bottom Line

How to use AMEX Business Platinum Dell credits is a question we get asked about quite often. I hope this will give you some ideas. How have you used your Dell credits?
