New American Express Hilton Credit Card Offers

Pam

Just in! We have new American Express Hilton Credit Card Offers! I was just saying to Alex and Jess that the offers have been pretty slim lately. Someone must have been listening because AMEX upped their game today! Here’s what has changed:

Hilton Honors American Express Credit Card

The American Express Hilton Honors Credit Card is up first. This is a great entry-level card for Hilton hotel lovers. Earn 70,000 Hilton points after spending $2,000 in the first 6 months. Here’s the good part – you get a free night certificate also and there is no annual fee for this card! What’s even better is you can use this free night at almost all of the Hilton properties, including Hilton Conrad Bora Bora, Conrad Maldives, and Grand Wailea in Maui!  You do have to use it within a year of earning it, though.

  • $0 Annual Fee
  • 7 points per dollar spent at Hilton properties
  • 5 points per dollar spent at grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants
  • 3 points per dollar spent everywhere else
  • Complimentary Hilton Silver Status
  • Offer ends 7/31/2024

The Hilton Waikoloa Village would be a great place to use some Hilton points!

Hilton Honors American Express Surpass Card

The Hilton Honors American Express Surpass Card is offering 130,000 Hilton points AND that all-important free night certificate after spending $3,000 in the first 6 months. Truth be told, that is the most compelling part of these new offers. The ability to stay at a really nice property for free AND earn points is a win-win!

  • $150 Annual Fee
  • 12 points per dollar spent at Hilton properties
  • 6 points per dollar spent at grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants
  • 4 points per dollar spent on U.S. online retail purchases
  • 3 points per dollar spent everywhere else
  • Complimentary Hilton Gold Status
  • 1 Hilton free night reward after spending $15,000 in a calendar year
  • Offer ends 7/31/2024

The Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills would be a crazy redemption of a free night certificate!

Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card

There is also the Hilton Honors Aspire card. This is their luxury card. It has an annual fee of $550 but some pretty great benefits. The card has a current offer of 175,000 Hilton points after spending $6,000 in the first 6 months. You also get a free night award after approval and every year after renewal.

  • $550 Annual Fee
  • 14 points per dollar spent at Hilton properties
  • 7 points per dollar spent on flights, car rentals, and at restaurants
  • 3 points per dollar spent everywhere else
  • Complimentary Hilton Diamond Status
  • $400/year Hilton resort credit ($200 semi-annually)
  • $200 flight credit ($50/quarter)
  • $189 CLEAR credit
  • Offer ends 7/31/2024

Bottom Line

If you have been looking at getting a credit card for hotel stays, this might be the time to consider the Hilton credit cards listed above. Hilton cards aren’t our favorite because of their typically high-priced award chart, but we love those free night certificates! The new American Express Hilton credit card offers and the addition of free night certificates makes these offers worth considering.

Any data points on whether you could hold more than one of these cards at the same time? Also could somebody be approved on two in the same day?

May try to do free version and Surpass for my wife and the free version for me, although I already have the Aspire.

Yes, I have held more than one of these cards at the same time. It is unlikely that you would get approved for two the same day.
