There is a new card_name offer out right now. The welcome offer hasn’t increased but there is now a great credit attached to it – $300 Chase Travel℠ credit! The minimum spend is still $4,000 in three months with a $95 annual fee.
This card is our favorite card for beginners who are new to the world of points and miles. It’s also one that all three of us will always have in our wallets. It is a great card in so many ways.
The 60,000 bonus points are worth a minimum of $750 when redeemed through the Chase Travel℠ portal at a value of 1.25 cents/point, and are worth even more when transferred to a partner like Hyatt.
You can combine Chase Ultimate Rewards® with your spouse (or other household members), so we recommend people refer their Player Two to the card and earn referral points.
We think the transfer partners for the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card are amazing (particularly since Chase is the only bank that transfers to Hyatt). Hyatt is our hotel brand of choice because of the oversized value you get compared to other hotel brands.
It also transfers to two great U.S. domestic partners that many people, including us, use often—United Airlines and Southwest Airlines®. Southwest® is the airline that Alex and Jess use for almost all their family travel.
Here is the complete list of Chase transfer partners:
The annual fee is only $95, which is low compared to many. It can be offset by using the $50 annual hotel credit, making it a mere $45/year. With this elevated offer, you’ll also receive a one-time $300 Chase Travel credit; that credit alone more than offsets the annual fee! You’ll also earn a 10% bonus on your total spending amount when you renew your card and pay the annual fee each year. That means if you spend $25,000 on purchases during your cardmember year, you’ll earn 2,500 bonus points.
It has amazing travel benefits:
This is the card we use most for renting cars or paying taxes and fees on our award travel because of the great insurance benefits!
We all love the card_name and believe it should be the primary card in every household. It is a fabulous option because of the great transfer partners available and the nice card benefits. The new Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card offer with the $300 Chase Travel℠ credit makes it a great time to apply for this card!
