Hailey’s new mom reader success story is a brief but oh-so-sweet story that we just HAD to share it with you. Being moms ourselves, we can totally relate to the struggle of wanting to be with your young children and also wanting to travel. In today’s world, that can be next to impossible on one income. Luckily, Hailey didn’t have to give up one to do both. Once again, credit card points and miles to the rescue! Here’s her story:
I became a first-time mom in 2021. Originally, we planned for me to return to work as a PRN speech therapist working part-time or less. My income wouldn’t be very substantial, but I planned to use that money for travel and vacations.
When it came time for me to return to the workforce, I couldn’t do it. My gut was telling me to be a full-time stay-at-home mom.
I stumbled across your website in 2022 and haven’t looked back. I went from feeling guilty about not working and thinking we would never vacation again to being able to give our family multiple free vacations a year.
We have been to Palm Springs for a friend’s wedding, Texas to visit ailing grandparents, Miramar Beach for three nights in a 4-star hotel, Amsterdam, Belgium, and in two weeks we leave for Germany and the Czech Republic. I plan to homeschool my son, and using credit card points/miles has completely opened our world to learn on the road and see what we study in person. Thank you for all of your tips and tricks! It is a pleasure to learn from you all, and I look forward to your podcast every week.
Thanks for your new mom reader success story, Hailey! Enjoy that cute boy of yours and many more trips on credit card points and miles!
