Our Readers Love Disney on Points and Miles!

Pam

Our readers love Disney on points and miles! It is one of people’s favorite places to go to after getting into using credit card points and miles to reduce their travel expenses.  Disneyland and Disney World are known for well-produced shows, parades, and character interactions. The parks cater to people of all ages, creating a space where families can enjoy shared experiences.

Today, we’re going to share a collection of our reader success stories, all in one place, so you can check out their experiences using credit card points and miles to visit the “Happiest Place on Earth.”  Check out their experiences before you plan your next Disney vacation!

Staying On-Site at Disney World

Karin shared her story of staying at the Walt Disney World Swan Resort using Marriott Bonvoy points. She spent $310 to take her family on a seven-day Disney vacation, which she said would have cost her $5,660 if she had paid cash. Karin also credits our Award Travel Academy Course for teaching her how to make the magic happen!

Almost – Free Disney Trip

In this Disney World report, Rylie, showed how she spent almost nothing for a SEVEN day Disney vacation. She even found a way to pay for her tickets! Flights, lodging, and tickets all made possible by credit card points and miles! Her story is truly inspiring!

Disneyland Birthday Trip

Kayla took her family of four to Disneyland for her son’s first birthday. She even took her parents on the trip (and I love that because we love traveling with family, too)!  She stayed at the Hyatt House Anaheim and loved it. Previously, she had stayed at a cheap hotel near Disneyland on her honeymoon. This time, she stayed at a nicer hotel and said, “We spent less for our 5-day Hyatt stay than our 2-night gross motel stay!”

By saving so much money thanks to credit card points and miles, she splurged on a Disney character breakfast that her boys loved. Her hotel and Disney tickets, were all covered with points and miles and she used a flight credit for the flights.

Frequent Traveler to Disney

Before starting her points and miles journey, Joy paid a lot for her frequent visits to Disney. Fast forward to her finding Travel Mom Squad—those frequent trips got a lot cheaper! Now she uses points and miles to fly Southwest Airlines for nearly free trips to her favorite places: Disneyland and Disney World! Here is her story!

We’re paying for those Disneyland tickets rather than using points and miles for them, so we can travel more often.

Anniversary Trip to Disneyland

Mimi loves Disneyland so much that she spent her fourth wedding anniversary there. In her story, she tells us about using points and miles for her hotel and rental car and paying cash for the rest.  Sometimes, points and miles supplement our vacations making them more affordable. She plans on getting more credit cards so she can use the welcome offers for more trips.
