Park Hyatt Bangkok Review

Pam

Sigh. I have started another Park Hyatt love affair. Here is my Park Hyatt Bangkok review—for an all-too-short stay of just one night that I would love to repeat. Park Hyatt Bangkok is a luxurious five-star hotel located in the heart of Bangkok’s central business district, next to the upscale Central Embassy Mall. It is known for its sleek, contemporary design, world-class service, and stunning city views. Amen to that! The architecture, the service, the view! I was in love.

The Redemption

The Park Hyatt Bangkok is a Hyatt Category 6 property, and we paid 25,000 Hyatt points to stay in this room, which would have cost over $400 at the cash rate. Since Bangkok has many options to use points for lodging, I had multiple choices. But as a lover of Park Hyatts, I had just one choice. My son-in-law loves the Four Seasons brand and he was properly impressed with this Park Hyatt! Using points versus cash was impressive to him. I also gifted my daughter and son-in-law a Guest of Honor award, so having a complimentary breakfast has impressed him with the Hyatt brand.

Check-In Process

We arrived at the hotel at the ground entrance and were warmly greeted in the typical Thai style. We were then escorted to the lobby on the 9th floor. The hotel’s elegant, contemporary design was immediately noticeable and its sleek interiors and art pieces created an immediate tranquil atmosphere. I knew I was going to like it here.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t a suite available for us but we were upgraded to a Deluxe King Room and thanked for my Hyatt loyalty and Globalist Status. In the room we found a welcome amenity of dried fruit and were later delivered some grapes and an amazing mango-lime tart along with a note thanking me for my status and loyalty.

Wonderful décor throughout the hotel.

The Room

The Deluxe King Room at Park Hyatt Bangkok was a lovely a blend of luxury, comfort, and contemporary design. The hotel’s signature minimalist elegance was perfect—I love that style! We enjoyed absolutely amazing views of the cityscape during the day, and at night, WOW!

Stylish and comfortable.

The large 600+ sq. ft room had soft wood tones, marble accents, and floor-to-ceiling windows that filled the space with natural light. Tranquil luxury was the theme.

We also enjoyed the large spa-inspired bathroom with white marble finishes and an elegant freestanding soaking tub attached with a separate rain shower. The toilet had a separate room, and there was also a large walk-in closet.

Pool, Spa, and Fitness Room

The infinity pool at Park Hyatt Bangkok is one of the hotel’s most breathtaking features, offering a serene escape above the bustling city. There was a young man swimming in it and had to remind myself that he probably wasn’t going to go over the edge of the “infinity” side! I meant to explore the pool more fully so I could see what it looked like out over the far edge, but forgot 🤦‍♀️. (I guess I’ll need to return to figure that mystery out.)

We were only there one night, so we didn’t experience the spa. Besides, you can get affordable massages at spas all over Bangkok, so I probably wouldn’t have used it.

However, the fitness center was large and had unbelievable views of Bangkok—it might have tempted me if I had been there longer.

Restaurants

We ate at three of the restaurants. Lunch was enjoyed in the Living Room. (Amazing decor!) We enjoyed a hamburger, a club sandwich, and fish and chips. The food was very good.

We had steaks at the Penthouse Grill, and they were good, but for the price, nothing to rave about. However, the views of the city and the décor were remarkable. I mentioned to my family that it was one sexy restaurant—and it was!

Breakfast was at the Embassy Room, and it was phenomenal. We ate near the pool and could order all we wanted off the menu, and it was fantastic food. We also could enjoy the massive buffet, complete with Asian specialties and Western options. Delicious pastries, yogurt options, and sticky mango rice were all located in separate rooms. And the cost? $0 for Globalists—amazing!

Bottom Line

Park Hyatt Bangkok is ideal for luxury travelers (🙋🏻‍♀️) who want comfort and top-tier service. It was a fantastic retreat from a busy, vibrant city. I would 100% love to return to this hotel. So my Park Hyatt Bangkok review is definitely positive—if you are in Bangkok, stay there! Park Hyatt Bangkok combines modern luxury with Thai culture, providing guests with a tranquil retreat in the core of the city.
