Madison shares her reader’s success story to Greece with us today! We love, love, love Greece so we loved reading about this. Here is her story:
Growing up, my father had credit cards and used points and miles to pay for most of our family vacations. He is an accounting manager for a company, putting close to $50,000 monthly on 2-3 different cards. This has allowed my family to travel my WHOLE ENTIRE life — up to 26 years, on just points. We traveled to New York, Hawaii, Mexico, and many East Coast trips all over the US! I can count on one hand the number of times I have traveled where I actually paid for the flight. NOT VERY MANY. Flash forward to me getting married this year and realizing I will have to figure out something different for my fiancé – soon-to-be husband – and me if we want to travel.
Once I found your Instagram, I saw the Chase Sapphire Preferred. I told my fiancé we could pay for our honeymoon while putting the expenses on credit cards and not spending too much extra. He was not into it at first, but I found out later he had secretly applied and had gotten approved! We booked two economy-class flights to Greece for a 10-day honeymoon!!!
We then opened a Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card when the signup bonus was 3-50K certificates. Then we used those certificates to book three nights in Athens and booked the 4th night with points acquired through work travel. We stayed at the Academias Hotel Athens, an Autograph Collection hotel, and the New Hotel, Athens, a Design hotel.
We are making plans for a family trip to Italy next!
Thanks, Madison, for sharing your reader success story to Greece – we hope it was magical!
