Paris is a bucket list destination in and of itself. But add in a chance to stay at the Park Hyatt Paris, and I was counting down the days to our trip for months! If you can believe it, the stay was even more magical that I had imagined. Let’s dive into what makes the Park Hyatt Paris so special…

 

 

 

Price

Cash rates at the Park Hyatt Paris typically run at least €1,000/night for a standard room. Of course we used Hyatt points and paid $0! We stayed 4 nights for a total of 125,000 Hyatt points (3 of the nights were 30,000 points/night and 1 night was a peak night at 35,000 points). Unfortunately, the Park Hyatt Paris has increased in price to a category 8 and will now cost between 35,000-45,000 points/night depending on if it’s off-peak, standard, or peak.

The Room

We originally booked a Park King room, but because my husband has Globalist status, he earned a few confirmed suite upgrade awards from Hyatt in 2021 after hitting 60 nights. We were able to apply one of those suite awards to our stay, and confirmed an upgrade to a Park Suite King. Housekeeping set up a rollaway bed for our daughter, and it was plenty of room for our family of 3!

 

 

The bathroom was also huge! The bathroom + closet area alone was bigger than some hotel rooms we’ve stayed in!

 

 

 

Food

While we didn’t have lunch or dinner at the Park Hyatt, we did enjoy a complimentary breakfast each morning thanks to my husband’s Globalist status. Breakfast was available in the restaurant or via room service, and we tried out both. Service at the restaurant was great, but nothing beats room service in Paris. Our total was over €100 each morning, but all charges were wiped off our bill at checkout. We enjoyed avocado toast, acai bowls, croissants with nutella, waffles, scrambled eggs, and more!

 

 

 

Location

The Park Hyatt Paris is located one block from the Place Vendôme. We loved the location—walking distance from landmarks like the Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay, but far enough away to be quiet at night and not surrounded by tourists during the day. It was a quick Uber ride to other locations like the Eiffel Tower and Montmartre (the Metro also would have been an option, but we were in Paris during a heatwave, so we opted for Uber as the Metro was uncomfortably hot).

 

Bottom Line

We had a fabulous stay at the Park Hyatt Paris and would not hesitate to stay there again. While it’s definitely a luxury property (and one of the more expensive options in Paris using Hyatt points), it’s also an amazing value using points and a true bucket list stay! Using Hyatt points earned from the World Of Hyatt Credit Card, card_name, or points transferred from Chase cards like the card_name to Hyatt makes the Park Hyatt Paris a great luxury option.
