Sedona on Points and Miles

Alex

Krista used points and miles from her signup bonus on the Chase Sapphire Preferred Credit Card for a stay in Sedona, Arizona. She also used it for her flight too!  Here is her story about Sedona on points and miles.

Sedona

I am so so glad I came across your Instagram page a couple of years ago. We have been able to take our family to so many fun places. Our most recent getaway was just my husband and me. We stayed at Hyatt Residence Club in Sedona Arizona. We flew to Phoenix on Southwest using points (we just transferred them to Southwest from our Chase Sapphire Preferred card). Then we had two Category 1-4 award free night certificates from the World of Hyatt card that we used to stay completely FREE, with no resort fees either. The resort charges 15,000 Hyatt points which is a great way to redeem your points.

Sedona was absolutely beautiful. It was about an hour and a half to two hours from the Phoenix airport so we just rented a car. We hiked, relaxed at the beautiful pool that had an amazing view, shopped, and ate at some amazing restaurants.

Thanks for explaining everything so well and teaching me how to do this fun hobby.

Bottom Line

Thanks, Krista for sharing your story! We love hearing how our readers use their points and miles. Sedona is actually a place I want to go to so I loved hearing about your redemption. Sedona on points and miles sounds perfect.
