Chase Sapphire Lounge Opens in Boston

Pam

This airport lounge geek is excited that the first Chase Sapphire Lounge by the Club in the U.S. is open in Boston. Even better, I have an award flight through Boston soon! I can’t wait to check it out! Previously, one opened in Hong Kong. The list of projected Chase Sapphire Lounges includes:

  • Austin-Bergstrom International Airport
  • New York, La Guardia International Airport
  • Washington, Dulles International Airport
  • Phoenix Sky International  Harbor Airport
  • Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport
  • San Diego International  Airport
  • Philadelphia International Airport

Who Can Enter

We’ve always said the card_name is our favorite beginner card. However, that card won’t get you access to this lounge. šŸ˜© For us lounge geeks, it will be better to hold the card_name, which allows access, but you need to show your Priority Pass card also. You may bring in 2 guests for free.

Priority Pass holders from all cards will receive one free entry to a Sapphire Lounge per calendar year. For every visit after the first, youā€™ll pay a fee of $75.

What You Can Expect

Like most premium lounges, you will receive high-speed Wi-Fi, curated craft cocktails, and seasonal menus. A comfortable work and rest space all make your airport experience more enjoyable. It is a large space at almost 12,000 square feet and includes two wellness areas with anti-gravity massagersā€”nice! Want to take a shower there? They have it!

Bottom Line

I have been looking forward to the opening of another type of airport lounge. The news that the Chase Sapphire Lounge is opening in Boston was met with disappointment, as it won’t be easy for me to enter one. I guess it is time for me to upgrade to the Reserve card once they open more lounges! Let us know if you use the one in Bostonā€”we’d love to know your thoughts!
