This is when you can use those hard-earned points and miles to book incredible stays at some of Mexico’s top all-inclusive resorts, making that dream trip way more affordable. Plus, Mexico is super accessible from most parts of the U.S., which makes it even easier for families to get away. Mexican resorts that are bookable with points and miles are popular with many of our readers.
Mexico is one of my favorite places to use travel rewards because so many major hotel brands have beachfront properties here. Whether you’re planning a trip to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, or Los Cabos, there’s a Mexican family resort that will fit your family’s vibe and your points budget.
Hyatt Ziva Cancun

Hyatt Ziva Cancun is consistently ranked as one of the best all-inclusive family resorts in Mexico. With multiple pools, including a kids’ water play area, a white-sand beach, and a kids’ club complete with crafts, video games, and supervised activities, it’s an ideal setting for a stress-free family vacation. There are also family-friendly shows every night, plus options like dolphin encounters and snorkeling right on site.

The Hilton Cancun is a fantastic all-inclusive resort for families thanks to its kid-friendly amenities like a supervised kids’ club, multiple pools (and a splash area), and a wide variety of dining options. Its beachfront location, family-sized rooms, and activities for all ages make it an easy choice for a fun and relaxing getaway.
Hilton uses dynamic pricing so a standard room will run you between 100-130K points per night. If you’re planning on using a free-night certificate, you’ll need to make sure that you’re booking a standard room.
Dreams Jade Resort & Spa – Puerto Morelos

This all-inclusive Dreams resort is a fantastic destination for families. The resort has an Explorer’s Club for kids aged 3 to 12, providing activities like arts and crafts, games, and even beach camping adventures. For teenagers, the Core Zone Teens Club offers daily activities and a variety of sports and games.
The Standard room at this property is a junior suite, so families can take advantage of spacious rooms with large bathrooms and family-friendly layouts, making it comfortable for everyone. The resort also has multiple pools, including a dedicated children’s pool, and many restaurant options that are sure to please all.

The Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa is an excellent all-inclusive choice for families. The resort features an indoor-outdoor kids’ club where the kids can participate in activities like pottery painting, Spanish lessons, and cooking classes. Adjacent to the kids’ club is an outdoor splash zone and playground for the younger kids.
Families can enjoy spacious rooms with ocean views, a large pool with a swim-up bar, and dining options to suit all tastes. The resort also offers unique experiences, such as baby sea turtle releases during the nesting season!
This property is bookable with Marriott Bonvoy points, and I was able to find availability between ~30K to 50K points per night, depending on the season.
Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos is an exceptional all-inclusive resort for families that offers a variety of amenities and activities tailored to guests of all ages. The resort has the KidZ Club, a supervised program for children aged 4 to 12, which includes indoor games, arts and crafts, and an outdoor playground with five waterslides and a shallow pool.
Families will love the spacious rooms, including family suites with separate living areas. The resort has multiple pools, including a heated infinity pool overlooking the beach.

Tips for Booking Your All-Inclusive Family Trip
- Book early for better availability, especially if you’re looking for a family suite.
- Call for reservations if booking for more than two people. You’ll have to add any extra guests with either additional points or cash.
- Be aware of blackout dates and resort fees.
- Check what’s included in the “all-inclusive” plan as some resorts charge extra for certain activities or restaurants.
