Best Credit Card Welcome Offers: March 2025

Pam

Let’s check out some of the best credit card welcome offers that are available now. We will look at each of these offers and see why they are valuable. Evaluating and comparing before deciding what to apply for is always a good idea. All the best offers available now are listed here so they’re easy to find when you’re ready.  Nothing is worse than finally being ready to pull the trigger on an offer and not being able to find it, or realizing it’s gone! We love to apply when the offers are higher than usual, but we also apply for the standard offers sometimes when having the card makes sense anyway.

Great limited-time offer on a card with no annual fee and a low minimum spend! This card is marketed as a cash back card, but actually earns Ultimate Rewards® points ($250 = 25,000 bonus points).

This is a great welcome offer if you’re looking to rack up IHG points for some hotel stays (maybe the Kimpton Seafire or Kimpton Roatán)?

The welcome offer hasn’t increased on this card, but meeting the minimum spend has gotten easier. This makes this card a great choice for those who might have previously felt like they couldn’t meet a $6K minimum spend in just three months. This card is marketed as a cash-back card, but you’ll actually earn Ultimate Rewards®.

This card has piqued our interest lately! You’ll earn $2,000 cash back after a $30K spend in 3 months.  (I’m thinking of paying my estimated taxes with this card since it has a high spending requirement.) If you have a Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card or Capital One Venture X Credit Card, this card’s welcome offer can be converted from $2,000 cash back to 200,000 Capital One Venture Miles, which is what we’ll be doing.  And another plus: it won’t count towards your 5/24 status.

Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card

100,00 Venture miles with one welcome offer? Yes, please! We love our Capital One Venture Miles and use them a lot for international flights. And, yes, you can have both Capital One Venture personal cards!

Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® Credit Card

The current offer for this card is 70,000 Alaska Miles plus Alaska’s Famous Companion Fare™ when you spend $3,000 in the first 90 days after opening the card.  Recently, I have found great value in booking a flight to Tahiti and Europe with these miles.

If you live near a United hub, like I do, this is a great offer. 100,000 United Miles can easily get you a couple of economy-class tickets or a one-way business-class flight. The annual fee of only $150 for a $5,000 minimum spend in three months is doable for most people, too.

And here are some other great United card offers that may interest you:

For the Hyatt card with the 5 free night certificates, can they be used if I’ve already booked the stays on points? As in, can I just swap a certificate for a night that I’ve already booked on points and get my points back? Thanks!

    • Pam says:

Call the hotel and see if they would honor that. My guess is no, you would need to rebook each night on points. I would try that and then cancel the stays with points. With certificates, you have to book each night separately. It wouldn’t hurt to call the hotel or Hyatt to see if they can do it for you though.

  2. Lena Lee says:

Hello! I was recently approved for the World of Hyatt card, when the welcome offer was the 5 free nights certificates. There was an issue with me getting approved right away, and the award has now expired. The current award is 30,000 points plus the ability to earn an additional 30,000 after spending $15,000. I’m trying to get customer service to grant me the expired award which is what I initially wanted, but do you think the 60,000 points is a better deal than the five free nights? I read that not many of the nicer hotels are within the category 1-4 hotels, and that the certificates expire, so the points are actually better. Advice? Thank you!

  3. Abby says:

The link for the AA Business card is only showing 65K. Did the 75K offer expire?

  4. Kara Lingenfelter says:

Hello! i have the venture and venture x; now that the venture is offering a travel credit- should I close my current venture and reapply? How does that work?

    • Pam says:

They have a 48-month rule for getting the card again – has it been that long? Even with meeting that criteria, they are quirky with approvals so there is no guarantee that you’d get approved right away.
