Best Hyatt Hotels to Use a Free Night Certificate

Pam

Unsurprisingly, each of us has the World of Hyatt Personal Card. While it historically does not have the best signup bonus, it does give us five elite night credits for our journey to Globalist status. Additionally, it gives us a free night certificate to use at a Category 1-4 hotel each year on our account anniverary. We try to get the best value out of that certificate, so let’s look at some of the best Hyatt hotels to use a free Category 1-4 hotel certificate. Usually, that means we want to use it at a Category 4 hotel as it should be nicer and more expensive. Here are some of the hotels we and our readers recommend for using that certificate.

Be sure to sign in when you are looking for a hotel. You will receive an option that says “free night” and also one that lists points for the hotel. Make sure you pick the free night option.

Hyatt Vacation Club at Piñon Pointe

The Hyatt Vacation Club Sedona is a great stay if you are visiting Sedona. I love that you have much more room with a small living area and kitchenette. This can help you save money by cooking some of your meals.

The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress

Many readers have mentioned the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, located in Orlando, Florida, as a great place to stay when visiting Disney World. It offers complimentary shuttle service to Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort and a golf course for a break between visiting all the parks. Hyatt Centric The Liberties Dublin

I used a free night certificate to stay here on my trip to Dublin and can vouch that it is a great stay. Hyatt Centric The Liberties Dublin is in a great location, and we walked everywhere in Dublin from this hotel. The room was nice, and they served a great breakfast.

My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt in Dublin as well and it was wonderful! Super friendly staff. We used points.

  2. Amy says:

I didn’t check them all, but it looks like both Italy options are category 5s now, so the 1-4 certificate wouldn’t work.

  3. Rick says:

Hyatt Centric French Quarter New Orleans. Great location and in the middle of a lot of restaurants and bars

  4. C says:

We’ve also stayed at the Hyatt Centric in Dublin for five nights on points. It is right across the street from St. Patrick’s Cathedral and a stop for the double decker bus tour. Here’s a video I took of it–https://familiestravelfree.com/dublin-hotel-hyatt-centric-liberties-review/

I need to figure out when to get the card to get the anniversary free night. How long do you have after you get the free night to use it?

  6. Brittany says:

How do you claim your free night when booking with your banked points for the other nights on-line? Do you have to call hotel directly?

    • Pam says:

When you look for the night and have clicked “use points” it will give you the option of using your free night or points.
