Best Credit Card Welcome Offers: November 2024

Pam

Let’s check out some of the best credit card welcome offers that are available now. We will look at each of these offers and see why they are valuable. Evaluating and comparing before deciding what to apply for is always a good idea. Nothing is worse than finally being ready to pull the trigger on an offer, and it’s gone! We love to apply when the offers are higher than usual, but we also apply for the standard offers sometimes when having the card makes sense anyway.

The welcome offer hasn’t increased on this card, but meeting the minimum spend has gotten easier. This makes this card a great choice for those who previously felt like they couldn’t meet a $6K minimum spend in just three months. This card is marketed as a cash-back card, but you’ll actually earn Ultimate Rewards® points.

Citi® AAdvantage Business™ World Elite MasterCard®

75K American Airlines miles after spending $5,000 in three months. The annual fee is waived the first year and is $95 annually after that. This is a business card, so it won’t take a 5/24 spot!

Each of the following cards has an elevated welcome offer right now, too! Seriously, there are so many great offers this month.

Bottom Line

Now is the time to learn more about these cards and earn a great welcome offer! We always advise applying when the welcome offer is high. Which card intrigues you right now?

For the Hyatt card with the 5 free night certificates, can they be used if I’ve already booked the stays on points? As in, can I just swap a certificate for a night that I’ve already booked on points and get my points back? Thanks!

    • Pam says:

Call the hotel and see if they would honor that. My guess is no, you would need to rebook each night on points. I would try that and then cancel the stays with points. With certificates, you have to book each night separately. It wouldn’t hurt to call the hotel or Hyatt to see if they can do it for you though.

Hello! I was recently approved for the World of Hyatt card, when the welcome offer was the 5 free nights certificates. There was an issue with me getting approved right away, and the award has now expired. The current award is 30,000 points plus the ability to earn an additional 30,000 after spending $15,000. I’m trying to get customer service to grant me the expired award which is what I initially wanted, but do you think the 60,000 points is a better deal than the five free nights? I read that not many of the nicer hotels are within the category 1-4 hotels, and that the certificates expire, so the points are actually better. Advice? Thank you!
