Increased Delta Credit Card Welcome Offers

Pam

Do you love Delta Airlines? Do you live near Atlanta, Salt Lake City, or another Delta hub? If so, you will be interested in our latest airline card news. The Delta credit card welcome offers have increased! Let’s get to the deets on these increased offers that are set to end on 7/17/24!

American Express Delta Gold Card

The American Express Delta Gold Card has a standard welcome offer of 40K SkyMiles. This has increased to 65K SkyMiles through 7/17/24, making it a great time to grab it if you haven’t had it before. The annual fee on this card is waived the first year, too! It requires a minimum spend of $3,000 in six months.

Remember, American Express has that pesky lifetime rule.

Delta recently changed their rules for the Delta card so that it now says: You may not be eligible to receive a welcome offer if you have or have had this Card the Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card, the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card or previous versions of these Cards.

However, I was offered it again after a few years, so maybe they forget about it sometimes! 😉 This card would be great for domestic travel—I have to admit, SkyMiles are harder to use for international travel unless there is a Delta flash sale.

Do you know if you can access the Delta Sky Lounge in SLC with the AMEX Platinum card? Or do you need a Delta Amex?
