Reader’s Success Story in Luxury

Pam

Today’s reader’s success story in luxury includes business class seats! Who doesn’t love that? Michelle talks about using points and miles to create a luxury vacation to Maui. Here is her story:

Credit card points have been really fun getting into! It’s been harder convincing my husband about it, but he’s coming around!  Especially after our trip to Maui!

Somehow I don’t think Michelle’s husband hated that business-class seat too much!

My husband and I used Delta SkyMiles to fly free from MSP- OGG! We got into the airport lounges in Minneapolis, Honolulu, and Seattle for free with the Delta Reserve Card. For lodging, we stayed at the Marriott Wailea Beach Club for free with Marriott points.  We then ended with two nights at the Four Seasons that we booked through the Chase Travel Portal –  all for free! We got upgraded at both hotels to ocean-view rooms that were gorgeous. I started accumulating points years ago, but once I found your Instagram account and others, I got more aggressive with accumulating points. Cards that would get you hotel stays like Michelle’s include:

Some future trips we are looking forward to include going back to Hawaii, but this time with my two stepkids! We would like to split our time between Maui and Kauai. I’m working on Hyatt points now for the Grand Hyatt Kauai! I also want to take my stepdaughter to Greece for her high school graduation. We hope to be able to use Capital One Venture Miles for business class to Athens.

Thanks, Michelle, for sharing your reader’s success story in luxury with us! You travel like I like to travel!
