Capital One Venture Miles are a transferable currency that can greatly add to your credit card portfolios. You can redeem them through the Capital One travel portal. You will get better value by transferring the miles to transfer partners, though, so let’s go over how to transfer Capital One Venture Miles.
Sign in to your Capital One account and look for your Venture Miles total (this is what it will look like). Select “View Rewards.”
Once you select “View Rewards,” you will see this screen.
You will then want to select “Convert Rewards.” This will be your next screen (only showing partial partners):
If you want to transfer Venture Miles to Air Canada for example, you would select “Transfer Miles.” The following screen appears where you would enter your Aeroplan loyalty number and select “Next.”
Once you select “Next,” you can transfer your Venture Miles to Air Canada and then book your tickets on the Air Canada site. There are 18 transfer partners with Capital One, so you have many ways to use these miles.
The ability to transfer Capital One Venture Miles to transfer partners makes it easier to book award travel. Recently, I transferred them to Air France to book flights to Nairobi. How have you transferred your Capital One Venture Miles?
