World of Hyatt Business Credit Card

Pam

It’s no surprise that we love Hyatt stays. We find that we get a very oversized value for the number of points we use, so we are always trying to find more ways to earn Hyatt points. So getting more Hyatt points with the card_name fits right into our travel plans with credit card points and miles, especially because business cards don’t count toward your 5/24 status.

The card_name just announced a slightly increased offer:  You can earn 60,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in your first 3 months from account opening. Plus you’ll also earn one free night at any category 1-4 Hyatt hotel after spending $15,000 on purchases within the first 6 months of account opening.

Since spending a good amount on your World of Hyatt Business Credit Card can earn you more elite nights (see below) and you’re probably doing that anyway if you’re trying to earn World of Hyatt Globalist status, the free category 1-4 certificate is a nice addition.

The personal card vs. the business card

The World Of Hyatt Credit Card (personal card) has had a so-so welcome offer for a long time—30,000 Hyatt points after spending $3,000 in the first 3 months is just okay. This offer is now elevated to 35,000 points instead of the typical 30,000 points, but it still could be better.  And don’t even get me started on spending an additional $12,000 to earn another 30,000 points!  $12,000 of spending could help me earn three or four more welcome offers from other cards. I could also apply for two Chase Ink Business credit cards and earn 150,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards® with that additional $12,000 in spending instead.

World of Hyatt Business Credit Card Perks

My favorite perk of the card_name is that for every $10,000 I spend on this card, I earn five elite night credits. This is a huge part of my Globalist strategy, so I will usually pay my estimated taxes with this card each quarter. There are some great milestone rewards you can also earn on your way toward earning World of Hyatt Globalist status.

This business card comes with immediate Discoverist status, which can make your Hyatt stays nicer, with 2 p.m. late checkouts, premium internet, and complimentary bottled water. As you progress up the elite-status ladder, you will earn even more benefits.

Getting late checkout at the Hyatt Place Panama City was a huge benefit for my family recently.

Using World of Hyatt Points

We have stayed at some amazing Hyatts over the years!  The current card_name card welcome offer could make it possible for us return to the following:

The Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach is a great place to use Hyatt Points!

Bottom Line

We know that many of you, like us, see the value of earning more Hyatt points. We always encourage earning Chase Ultimate Rewards® as a way to accumulate Hyatt points through transfers, especially if you have already applied for the World of Hyatt card. If you’re eligible to apply for a business card, you may also want to learn more about the card_name. We think it is a card worth considering—what are your thoughts?
